At 2.5 Months

These pics were taken at night, so some have the red eye effect. The previous owner named my husky CoCo... we haven't decided what new name to give her anyway, so I guess we'll just stick with her old name.

CoCo playing with her "toys"

Here she tries to leap onto my mirror in search of her own image

Maybe she really thinks she can play with it?!

Some other pics

I will be posting photos of CoCo monthly to track her growth. Then we can all see how she grew up when she's an adult in a few years' time! She's cute. :)

My Adversary

My adversary - I will not forget. Neither will my adversary forget me. And now to my adversary I speak.

Don't think you can lash out at me whenever you're not in a good mood. I'm not your bloody pet or servant. If you need a low life to shout and yell at whenever someone else offended you, stand in front of the mirror and you will find one.

Don't play if you want to be such a sore player. Don't joke about my bitch if you cannot accept me doing the same to you.

What makes you think I shouldn't do something you do all the time? Double standards? Well, what do people like you know about a level playing field anyway...

And don't even start to attribute the failures of your pathetic love life to heaven, God, whatever. Your incompetence has won you your loneliness!

"Dogs"

There, for me, is a special meaning to the word "dog". During my army days, we used to call the superiors who sought to get into commanders' good books by enforcing stupid rules to our detriment "dogs".

There were the stray dogs too, which could be found wandering around my army camp. Some of my friends had even been chased by them while on night duty. So we hated them, although we did so affectionately name them after our superiors. LOL.

With all these negative experiences with "dogs", I never thought I would buy a "dog", or a real dog for that matter.

But then in the year of the dog, I bought a husky. Ironic?

Of course it is.

One major difference, though. It's a lot more adorable than the other "dogs" I've mentioned.

My Siberian Husky

Just bought a new puppy. A two month old siberian husky, to be exact.

I know many of you find it surprising that I would actually buy a puppy, because I wasn't very fond of dogs in the past. Well yes, I don't like the types that bark a lot, but siberian huskies are different! They howl and whine more than they bark, and they look more like wolves than dogs. Who needs dogs when you have wolves, haha!

She likes to sleep a lot, since she is still young. And she likes to lick the dust off the legs of my sofas and chairs. She also has a fetish for leaves. Herbivore husky. LOL.

And these are her favourite toys. To think what we children played with when we were young. I guess dogs must be easily contented beings.

First of all, contrary to the pictures, they do NOT have red corneas, please. LOL. Just a camera reflection issue, that's all.

Her previous owner named her Coco, but we havent decided what name to give her yet. She has a twin sister I didn't buy because buying the both of them would be too costly! I hope though, that the future owner of Coco's twin sister will agree to meeting up occasionally to allow the sisters to play together. Think it will be cruel and heartless to keep them apart forever. They are sisters afterall.

Sometimes Coco would stare blankly as if she was thinking of something. Maybe she's thinking of her previous owner and her sister, I don't know. I have asked the ex-owners to come and visit Coco anytime they liked, coz I'm sure they miss her too. I really hope they do. I don't want sad puppies or breeders. Everyone can still be together, alright!!

New Section!! - Quizzes

The observant have probably realized it already.

I added a new section on the left sidebar of the blog a few weeks back - "Quizzes".

A big thank you to all who have completed the quizzes. I can imagine you laughing away at some of the answers.

The quizzes consist of questions about myself. Self-indulgent me, hah! Not that many people have passed anyway (LOL), but please feel free to try the quizzes out when you have time to spare. There's only two available now but I promise I will add more in future.

You'll get to know the weird and not-so-weird side of me, hopefully. Good luck.

Thoughts Of A Thursday

I'm almost two weeks into my attachment already. It's thursday and I'm looking forward to the weekend. A break from the work life routine is always welcome. You know the sequence - wake up, go to work, come home, have dinner, sleep and then go to work again the next day. Boring.

It's good though. Find myself appreciating whatever free time I have a lot more. Find myself making better use of my time. Find myself enjoying the weekends more than I used to. Having a meal together with my family means a lot now, with this tight schedule :)

Work itself isn't too bad. Quite enjoyable at times in fact. Conducive working environment and friendly colleagues. Glad to put my talents to good use.

Just finished watching American Idol results show. Results are getting increasingly ridiculous with every week!! What's wrong with America? Even the crowd booed when the bottom three were announced. Okay I'm happy Chris and Kellie are still in it, but there are finalists a lot WORSE than Mandisa and Lisa, and who are still warming the seats!

In the mood for some rock classics tonight. Aerosmith. Cranberries. Matchbox Twenty. Playing the CDs on my computer now. Guess it's just one of those nights.

Lastly, "learn" ain't as good as "apply". Retards are no good.

Until next time.

Beware: Madman On The Loose!

BEWARE

MADMAN ON THE LOOSE!!!

Race: Chinese

Height: Unknown

Weight: Unknown

Gender: Should be a male, but no guarantees

Favourite phrases: "Chao turtle" & "Kei ar Xia"

Favourite pasttime: Running around naked

Details: Last spotted running around a void deck in Hougang. Was skimpily dressed with just two pieces of paper covering his chest. Rumour has it he chases after young girls whilst clutching onto his chest area as shown in the photo above.

Believed to have escaped from the Hougang chalet just a few days ago.

Be on your guard!

Oops. I think he's gonna kill me for this. :D

A Passion For Truth Part 3

In my previous posts, I have discussed Kelvin's and Thomas / Irene's case.

This time, I will be citing the most eagerly awaited example of negativity and inflexibility in BEC.

You do not need to pressurize parents into forcing their children to come every Wednesday and Saturday. Especially Wednesday, since that is a weekday and some people may be tied up with their homework. Some also live far away from BEC, and it will be very late by the time they get home. And they still have got to go to school the next day.

Comments along the lines of "you haven't been praying hard enough for your children" will be directed at parents if their children are somehow absent during Wednesdays and Saturdays. In turn, the parents will reprimand their children for not turning up. But let's face it, they are simply not interested in attending the Wednesday and Saturday sessions!! Why do you need to pressurize their parents into forcing their children to turn up?

Can't you respect the decision of others? Is it mightily hard to do so, for you? I don't know. Is it because you're all old and "wise" and expect everything to be done to your liking? Does the world owe you a living, at all?

And even if parents stated the reasons about their children having school the next day and stuff like that, it would be deemed unacceptable. Nothing but a "life and death matter" is deemed an acceptable enough reason for one to miss a Wednesday or Saturday session. Comments like "you must have more faith" will be found hurtling your way if you state reasons such as having to go to school the next day. But obviously not everyone feels the same way.

Under contract law, they call this undue influence. Although there's no contract being signed here, the scenario's pretty similar. I take my hat off you. You really know how to pressurize others into doing things they actually don't want to do. I wish this were a contract though, so at least the contractees can vitiate it all because of undue influence.

I do not think children of position holders in BEC should be subjected to a more befitting code of conduct just because their parents are position holders in the church. Children of position holders in BEC are still children, and they have to attend school. They have to do homework. Best of all, they have a life.

Please be flexible, and don't always resort to the award winning phrase "put God first" whenever you've got nothing left to say but just want to save your pride anyway. Everybody's tired of hearing that.

Give us a break, thank you. And save your self righteousness and inflexibility for yourselves.
