Mum's 51st Birthday

Well, the exact date is 24 November, but we decided to celebrate Mum's birthday a couple of days earlier. Got the entire family together and went out for dinner. That's the way it should be, shouldn't it - spending time together and cherishing one another while we're alive instead of crying our hearts out and "paying respects" when someone's dead. More like crying over spilt milk.

Anyway, Dad suggested that we go to a mushroom steamboat restaurant near the Singapore Indoor Stadium. So we did and believe me when I say this, but I'd NEVER seen such a variety of mushrooms my entire life prior to this meal!

The restaurant wasn't too crowded, which made the experience an even more pleasant one. It's hard to find dining places that are not too crowded these days. I HATE to dine at crowded eateries - it's irritating to queue up for your table and the standard of the food served deproves too.

All in all, I'm glad everyone managed to set aside some time from their busy schedules for this celebration. Really cherish these moments. And here are the photos :)

Congratulations Boon Hua & Janice!!

Many congrats to my maternal cousin Boon Hua and his newly wedded wife Janice!

Even as 10 November 2006 remains an insignificant day for many other people, it will surely bring back fond memories for the newly wedded couple.

The family is getting bigger and BIGGER!!

They were asking me, when will it be my turn.

Haha. Well, I don't know.

If something happens, it happens. If it doesn't, then it doesn't.

Singlehood has its own benefits too :p

As for now, I just want to be successful in my career, earn lots of money so I can provide for my parents when they're old, and do some travelling while I still can! :)
